What is Miljø Pakke?
Miljø Pakke is a sustainable backpack project made from 3 damaged rain shells, 1 worn-out yoga mat, a secondhand shower curtain, and too many granola bar wrappers to count.
It’s made to promote the Nordic philosophy of Friluftsliv, defined as “encouraging a love for the outdoors and being in harmony with nature without destroying or disturbing it”.
By developing a stronger connection to the environment, the hope is to inspire more conscious and sustainable ways of living.
The form draws inspiration from mussel shells highlighting their protective and natural qualities, further grounding the design in its environmental roots.
